Community policy

Community Guidelines

Read VibeRank's draft Community Guidelines for participation, source-aware claims, moderation, reporting, and enforcement.

Draft placeholder: These Community Guidelines are non-final and remain pending legal, product, and trust/safety review. They are published to explain the launch posture for public participation and moderation. They are not legal advice.

Respectful Participation

VibeRank is built for source-aware forecasting, discussion, and public analysis. Participate in good faith, treat other users with respect, and keep disagreement focused on claims, sources, and reasoning rather than personal attacks.

Source-Aware Claims

Comments, event opportunities, and content should clearly distinguish verified facts, evidence-based interpretations, speculation, and personal opinion. Do not present rumors, manipulated media, or disputed claims as confirmed facts.

For sensitive claims involving elections, public safety, violence, sanctions, financial markets, or named people, use trustworthy public sources and avoid exaggerating what the evidence proves.

Event Opportunity and Content Quality

Event opportunities should have objective resolution criteria, a clear date or window, a finite outcome set, and public sources that can verify the result. Articles and comments should add context, evidence, or a useful question for the community.

Do not imply guaranteed financial outcomes, official investment advice, or cashable rewards. Aura and reputation features remain subject to their current pilot disclosures and launch gates.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users may not post or facilitate:

  • Harassment, targeted abuse, bullying, or threats.
  • Hate, dehumanizing, or discriminatory content toward protected or vulnerable groups.
  • Graphic violence, unlawful exploitation, or content that encourages real-world harm.
  • Explicit sexual content, adult-industry solicitation, nudity, or sexual content involving minors.
  • Spam, scams, fraud, phishing, malware, credential theft, or platform manipulation.
  • Impersonation, deceptive identity claims, or misrepresentation of affiliation.
  • Illegal content or instructions that meaningfully enable unlawful activity.
  • Copyright-infringing material or content that violates third-party rights.

Misinformation and Disputed Claims

VibeRank may label, restrict, down-rank, remove, or route content for review when claims are unsupported, materially misleading, dangerous, or contradicted by trusted evidence. Discovery of a circulating claim is not the same as confirmation that the claim is true.

Moderation and Enforcement

Moderation may include review queues, content edits or removals, visibility restrictions, warning notices, feature limits, account suspension, or account termination. Enforcement decisions may consider severity, context, repeated behavior, user safety, and legal obligations.

Reporting and Review

Users should report content that appears unsafe, unlawful, misleading, infringing, or inconsistent with these Guidelines. Appeals or review requests may be available for some enforcement actions as the moderation workflow matures.
